Travel Documents - Retention Guidelines

GSA’s (General Services Administration), responsible for crafting the policy NSF follows. I have pasted the language (in-part) and link that instructs you on record management. Hopefully, this will provide the information you need:

“…. receipts must be retained for 6 years and 3 months as prescribed by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) under General Records Schedule 6, paragraph number 1 ( http://www.archives.gov/records-mgmt/ardor/grs06.html) (see FTR §301-52.4).”

Fedtraveler is the official record repository (owner). They have maintained past records from the time they became our official Egov agent. I was advised that any travel record is maintain 6 years and 3 months from the date it is created.

You can retrieve (through Fedtraveler Utilities) electronic record dating back from that point to present. If you haven't been set-up to use the feature, you may contact Fedtraveler to request.
