International Travel - Fly America Act/Ticket Purchase Outside of Sato

DAS Travel does not recommend purchasing your own ticket outside of SATO for international flights due to the stringent standards of Fly America Act.  Anyone whose air travel is financed by US Government funds is required to use a US flag air carrier (i.e. United, Delta, American, etc.).  Codeshare flights, where the US air carrier has purchased seats on a outside carrier (i.e Air Canada) which partners with United would be acceptable.  It you do not adhere to the Fly America Act, you will NOT be reimbursed.
